Newbie from Wales, Uk

  • I have just woken up and thought this is it I’m starting. No preparation, so looking for some easy ideas that I should have in my cupboards and fridge. I’m working a 10-6 shift, so skipping breakfast, planned salad for lunch, and fish and veg later, with maybe a yogurt and fruit if calories available? I have just had my 50th birthday, celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary next week, and going through the menopause, with terrible sweats day and night. I am so unhappy with my weight, and body is aching carrying the extra weight. I am really feeling motivated, and would love some support from the forum, as who knows how I will be feeling later 🙂

    Hi Mascara50. So glad you decided to give 5.2 a try. Come and join other menopausal – pre, during and post, on Precious Booboo’s thread. Look for ‘Help! Ladies Of A Certain Age Please Respond’. It’s a lovely chatty group and you will get lots of support and inspiration by reading through the previous postings and putting in your own thoughts and experiences.
