Newbie from Scotland

  • Taking the plunge, downloaded book onto Kindle and planning on kicking off Monday with a Fast day – spending the weekend just looking at cupboards and fridge etc – also got the exercise book as have enrolled in a butt kick regime as need to get myself sorted. Am 5ft5 and 14st10 so lots to loose – taking it in bite size chunks though and would love to be in the 13st bracket in the next 9 weeks, so just over a pound a week loss! 9 weeks until I am on my holiday and feel that weight loss would give me a bit more confidence in getting in a swimsuit etc…. All help and support welcomed as I am someone who starts something but with work and life finds it difficult to maintain. Cheers, K

    welcome! I’m the same height as you and started out 16 weeks ago at almost your same weight (6 lbs less than where you are). I’m down 35 lbs as of this morning! Some people lose faster and some slower – I seem to be one of the faster ones. I am excited at how far I’ve come but still have a long way to go. At 9 weeks I had lost 13 lbs, so your goal is possible. I have found this much easier than any other weight loss approach I’ve ever tried and will have no problem doing it for life. It has also changed the way I relate to food – my appetite is less, and I choose healthier foods voluntarily. I hope it will work out as well for you!
