    Good luck tomorrow on your first fast day. My first fast day was quite difficult, my second fast day was easier and all subsequent fast days have been rather manageable. Today is my first fast day of the week and so far so good, I’ve only had water since supper last night at 19h30. The plan is to continue only on water until breakfast tomorrow morning.

    Well got a small salad for lunch only 105 calories, lots of water ready, but it is first day of TOM how am I going to cope with sugar cravings. I am in agony at the mo with bad stomach cramps. So going to pop some pills and hope it settles down. I have brought myself some chocolate covered rice cakes only 83 calories for the pack of three. Going to be my treat tonight xxxxxxxx

    Hi I’m keyhole Kate, I have made the cabbage soup from an old diet, added up all the calories from the book and got 6628cal and this makes about 20 meals at about 331 Cal per meal, now what about those coffee for the morning and an evening snack, pse help with my counting am using Allan Borushek’s Pocket Calorie Counter book. My TDEE is 6937Kg/1648 cal div by 4 equals 414.5 per day allowance, is this right

    Kate, re: 414.5 cals/day, you mean fast days, right? I wouldn’t worry too much if you go up to 500. My TDEE is quite low, and sometimes my fast days are 25% of that, but other times it’s closer to 500. My weight loss was fairly consistent in spite of that…

    Thanks for the reply can do up to 500 no problem but am wondering if my calculations for the soup is right can you let me have a better recipe as this one leaves me very little to go for breakfast and an evening snack or do I have to go without the coffee in the morning?
