New to this please HELP

  • Hi everyone I am very new to this but I think this diet is the one I need so please if any of you have any advice or reciepies to help me i appreciate it.Oh and tell me how to do this diet lol thanks Jane x

    hi Jane and welcome to the forum!

    first of all please have a look around the forum, there is a section with yummy meals ideas, have you calculated your TDEE? this is the amount of cals you should consume on your non fast days, top of the page under the how? section, there is a tool there which will calculate this for you.
    All you have to do is choose 2 days you want to fast, those can be any during the week, and you can change them as you please too, consume 500 calories that day and that’s pretty much it 🙂 some fasters don’t eat anything till their evening meal others, like me lol, eat lunch and dinner, so I spread my cals..also herbal teas, black coffee and water can be consumed freely, you don’t count the calories for those 🙂

    Hello! And welcome – this is a great way to lose weight. When I started I split my calories and included breakfast lunch and dinner. Now, I don’t have breakfast and tend to have soup (whole cans tomato ones or veg, no cream of -or homemade), tend to be the most filling and then a light ish dinner. Dinner usually is prawns with a variety of green veg – kale, cabbage, etc. Herbal teas – sometimes I do allow myself one cup of ‘normal’tea too – but I take sugar – so be aware of the calories. The book has some great ideas too – and my parents are both doing it and love the Masala dish and the salmon. Good luck – and this website is a great way to get inspiration too. You can really have your cake and eat it! 🙂

    Oh – I also use My fitness pal as a great guide too.
