  • This is my first day on the forum. I am fasting today but would like to have an idea of what to eat for a quick bite mid-day. I will have a low calorie dinner tonight. Any suggestions.

    Welcome!
Hm.. what to eat for a mid-day bite. My choice (all two times thus far) has been foods that are satisfying but not too caloric rich, like cooked spinach and onions lightly salted, or green peas, or even a few peanuts – to me, all those satisfy without adding very many calories. I often snack on a few blueberries too, given their low caloric content and excellent flavor. I recall seeing recommendations on the degree to which a food satisfies hunger, the new food guide offers this when one enters a given food; maybe give that a try of you like.
Best of bite searches for a bit of taste mid-day!
    Cheers
