New and need help!!!!

  • I am looking at starting this this week and. Have already ordered the book. What’s the best things to eat on fast days that fill you up and low on calories. Also if I started on Thursday, would I weigh myself the following Thursday? What fast days would you recommend? Tia x

    I like to eat protein and veggies on fast days, plus lots of water, tea, and coffee.

    As for the fast days, this is up to you. Pick two non consecutive days when you are busy during the day so that you can be distracted.

    Like Amy, I like to eat protein and veggies, too, on FDs. I fast Monday and Thursday. I start after dinner on Sunday night about 6:00 and fast to 6:00 on Monday night. That Monday night dinner is 500 calories for me. As far as weighing? I’m the worst. I only weigh like once a month. I should weigh at least once every couple of weeks. It skeeeeers me. Good luck!

    I am brand new to the diet and havent yet finished the book. Can you eat gluten free pasta on a fast day or would that not be adviseable?

    You can eat whatever you want as long as the total number of calories is under 500. I find protein, fast and veggies to be more satisfying.
