New 5:2 er, my first week

  • Hi everyone, I’ve just stared this new plan this week with my other half. I would love to know how everyone is maintaining the diet, as I have found that even after just two days fasting this week I am feeling lighter and better generally.

    Much better than I thought I would be. What are you doing regarding the actual calories?

    On the first day I had breakfast and dinner but I found that made me really hungry, so on the next fast day I just had an apple around lunch and coffee and water through the day, with the rest of the calories at dinnertime and I found that better for me. I would love to know what other people are doing, to get some tips for the long haul!

    If you can, browse through other threads to find out how folks are doing or take a look at the recent posts from time to time. Folks update all day long.

    I do what you are doing — save most of my calories for the evening. I love the control I feel when fasting.

    I will do – lots of helpful info here. Me too, it is quite liberating feeling in control of something that is going to change my life for the better 🙂
