I’m LittleRedPhoenix, don’t mind LRP for short. I’m new to this diet, started today. I’m in the middle of my very first Fast Day today ๐
Read the 5:2 book a while ago and have now decided to give it a go. I’ve been doing LCHF which has been very successful so far, but finding it too restrictive – I hate being deprived of certain foods. I love long distance running, but really need to shift the weight I’ve gained over the past 18 months as it’s really had an impact on my running form. I’m also not at all comfortable being heavier than I was. I would like to lose around 16 pounds but lately have been finding it so difficult with motivation and sticking to my diet. Hoping to find some incentive now that I’ve changed my type of diet and looking forward to being part of the 5:2 Community. Really, really, REALLY looking forward to Feast Day tomorrow ๐
