I’m curious to know about lowering LDL Cholesterol in women. My LDL levels are +160(US) though my HDLs are very high and my Triglycerides are quite low. My goal with this eating plan is not the weight loss though a few lbs and/or some measurement changes would be a bonus. Today is a fast day for me. This is week 2 and my second fast day this week.
I don’t weigh myself until Monday but I lost 1% of body fat according to my scale this week. Not sure if that’s just a +/- thing with my scale though. Too soon to tell. I am 63 years old and in decent shape and wish to stay that way for a long time. So if anyone has any info re: women and lowering cholesterol, I’d love to hear about it.
This is so new to me that it’s hard to really know what’s up…I do know that giving my gastro system a break feels good though today I’m hungrier than usual. Next meal is coming soon enough. I get quite a lot done distracting myself from my hunger. That’s certainly a positive thing!
