Hello Everyone, It is morning in Melbourne Australia, and what a lot of interesting posts I have woken up to!
I’ve had to look up what a soup maker is, check which state is MA, and go through caravan envy!
Welcome Rachel! I’m so glad you said you feel good on fast days. I was so nervous on my first fast day, and at the end of the day I felt so good that I knew 5:2 was for me. Quite often people bemoan that they aren’t losing weight on their scales, and I always think “But how do you FEEL????”
I don’t count calories or own scales (although I looked up calories to work out what I was doing on fast days) so I concentrate on how I am feeling, and how my clothes are fitting (and quite a bit of looking in the mirror 😉 ). I am just glad to be eating and feeling better, and not putting on weight. So it is a continual delight to find clothes getting comfortable, then too loose, then finding more, and changing my style as I get thinner, and basically have lots of fun.
Like you, I started concentrating on the fast days, and then realised the non fast days were all part of it too. Off shopping today and buying green beans! They are what I am hungry for! (Other things as well!)
Chronic ill health keeps me out of the work force, so I am not much use with the business lunches. Planning is everything. Your plan sounds good!
Woohoo Patty on those smaller pants! Ooh a frittata sounds good. Must buy eggs!
SteppingOut your soups sound delicious! I love soup too, especially on fast days. But don’t tempt me with another gadget!!!!
Audrey I am glad you got your Mothers Day things! 🙂
Happy International Women’s Day all you International Women! Cheers!
