Help!!!

  • Hi all, I started the diet yesterday yesterday and have also downloaded my fitness pal app for way of calorie counting. But I’m a little confused as mfp says my total calories for the day should be 1600 which would give me a loss of 1/2 a week. Although the calculator on here says I should be consuming 1780kcal a day???? Which one should i follow?? Have approximately 3.7 stones to lose 😛

    My fitness pal is giving you a reduced calorie intake per day to create a calorie deficit to lose weight. If you are following 5:2 you shouldn’t need this as the 2 fast days a week create this deficit for you without ever being restricted for a long period of time. You should be eating 1780kcal a day on non-fast days and 445kcal (a quarter of your usual intake) on fast days. Hope this helps.
