  • I posted yesterday but it may have got lost somewhere in the ether. This is my 2nd day…going well.Prefer to do this fast on the weekend for me…..this will have to change with celebrations ect occurring usually on a weekend but for now this is my plan. I want to lose 26kg and am fed up being 86 kgs. Looking forward to posting and finding how everyone else is fairing. Artygal1

    Hi Artygal

Another from Adelaide! There are several from SA who mostly post on the Southern Hemisphere site – did I also see you post there?

Can’t make any personal contribution about DII but know of one Australian who is drug free, having lost >20kg and now simply monitors his BS daily, while maintaining his target weight and fasting 5:2.

Best wishes on your journey – your body WILL reward you if you persevere both wrt weight loss and improved health.

I am on the ‘turtle’ track, rather than the hare but find it easy to complete 2 FDs each week and mostly staying around my TDEE on other days. I have lost an average of 1kg/month since the end of January 2014 and also 14cm from my waist. I’m now a comfortable size smaller in clothes and have the next size acting as my ‘trousers of truth’ (TOT). That’s not my invention but one which you may come across on the threads.

Hey, I am also from Adelaide. This is day two and am feeling at home with this approach to a healthy lifestyle. I a will be here for the long haul as have much to shift. Looking forward to hearing about your challenges and successses
