  • Good morning well here we are at the start of the new me. Dieted on and off all my life have come to the conclusion this one is going to work. Wish me luck on the journey to the rest of my life

    Good luck PB you have made a great decision. Before I started 5:2 I had never found any other way of eating that could fit in with my lifestyle and still allow me to lose weight/inches.

    You will find lots of support on the forum so any questions just ask and somebody will answer you 🙂

    Thanks for your reply looking forward to it as time for action. How are you doing on the diet?

    I am doing quite well. I started on Monday 6 January and when I weighed in last week I had lost a total of 11 lbs but most of that was in the first 4 weeks (I only weigh in once every 4 weeks). However I have lost 3 inches off my waist and also inches off my arms, legs and hips.

    It is a good idea to measure yourself when you start as a lot of people find that the loss on the scales is not that great but they lose inches so need smaller clothes!
