  • I’m starting this week as I need a kick in the pants! Over the past year, through exercise & calorie counting, I’ve lost 70lbs at my lowest, but I keep regaining a few lbs. I still have another 10lbs to lose to hit my first goal of losing 80lbs and raising £100 for charity. And then I have another 80lbs to lose to be at a healthy BMI (I may change that, we’ll see how I feel when I’ve got to about 13st, but not htere yet)

    I’m a SAHM to 3 children aged 5-10 and carer to my parents, a role which I share with my husband and sister.

    Well done up to now, what a great achievement. I have done ALL diets over 45 years and I think this one beats them all. I have thrown all my other diet books away. Although I had about 42 lbs/3 stone to loose, I have lost 28 lbs/2 stone, with another 14lbs/ 1 stone to go, I have lost the most weight and kept it off on the 5.2 as its a way of life change.

    Hi, I’m in Wales too and just completed 3rd week fasting have lost 7.5llbs so far 2″ off bust 1″ off tummy and 1″ off each thigh! This is showing in my clothes and keeping me motivated, have found I can’t eat as much and have changed to smaller plate for all meals not just fasting days. I have 3 children who were on halfterm this week so ate out three times and had a few glasses wine which is not a normal week but back to normal from today. Changing my fast day to Monday as Tuesday is pancake day and as I’ll be making them for children and hubby, will join them but use fruit too. Still got a long way to go would like to lose another 80lb so in it for long haul! Good luck keep posting

    thank you all. I’m going to get a starting weight for this tomorrow. Either at my parents, or when I pop to the leisure centre to see a friend.
