  • Hi, Just starting FD today. I watched the documentary months back and it’s stuck in my brain….and I just know this is going to work for me. I look forward to reading posts from others, and gathering all the info I can, to help me on my journey to some weight loss and better health 🙂

    thanks so much! Doing my first day of 5:2 and starting it with a fast day! I’m not doing too bad. Having cups of hot decaf tea to ward off hunger. I have lots of muscle/nerve pain I’ve dealt with now for almost 7 years, and in that 7 years, I’ve eaten my way through the pain. Gained about 45 pounds. Have been watching my calorie intake for the last couple of weeks. I watched the documentary months back about 5:2 and always wanted to do it, so no time like the present! It’s also helping me fight the issue of pain/eat….I need to break that cycle. I’m giving it my best shot! I appreciate the support!

    good morning. It’s a new day. Got through my first 5:2 day, and it was a fast day. It really does make you think about ‘feast’ day. Why eat irresponsibly to just undo all the good you did while fasting? I’m going to like this and it will make me way more conscious of what I’m shoving in my mouth! Hope you all have a blessed Monday!

    welcome k9mom! I’m in the US also. congrats on finishing your first fast day. how did you find it? I have definitely found that this way of eating makes me more conscious of what I’m putting in my mouth. It has also inspired me to try a lot of lighter/healthier foods and I’ve been surprised how enjoyable and satisfying they can be.
