    Anyone on their first fast today (26 January 2015)?

    I bought the book on Saturday, finished it yesterday, and decided there was no reason not to get going straight away.

    I’m not overweight as far as BMI goes, but know I could lose a stone and still be in the healthy range – that would be great for me in terms of sports performance. The health benefits are very compelling too, and I’m very excited to see how it goes.

    I was starting to feel very hungry, and decided to check out the website to see what I can find out about how others deal with the hunger pangs, and found that they have reduced a little by focusing on something else: just like it says in the book!

    Hope things are going well for everyone, and hope I can report back in the not too distant future with good results.

    Hi, my first day too. Feeling okay so far, bit hungry but nothing I can’t manage. With raised cholestrol and an unhealthy BMI range decided it was time to take action! Even I can be good for 2 days a week so I keep telling myself.

    The book makes interesting reading and makes sense and everyone is so positive.

    I’m using this as a distraction as I’m finding my second fast day a bit harder than the first one which I did on Monday. Joanmay, I hope yours went well.

    I’ve had a nice lunch of green salad leaves with a squeeze of fresh lemon, and roast beef slices. I’m keeping a headache at bay by drinking plenty of hot water. Fish and lots of vegetables for dinner later, and should have spare calories for a couple of water biscuits and a small slice of cheese.

    After Monday’s fast, I didn’t wake up hungry on Tuesday, and went until about 10am before I fancied breakfast.

    I am feeling pretty hungry now, but I think it’s at its worst and the wave will pass soon. I won’t give in!

    Hang on in there anyone who’s feeling the same right now!

    Hi everyone

    I am on week 4 and today is a fast day and I am struggling! All I can think about is food and I my stomach is grumbling and I feel a headache coming on – the water is not working for me today! Plus I am in the US so its not even midday yet – Must stay strong!!!

    Keep up the good work everyone, love hearing your progress/challenges etc
