Hello, I’m Vicki and I watched the horizon programme only recently and have just read the first 5:2 book. I am now reading the fast beach diet book.
I’m currently studying for a degree in health sciences and so this is something i have found particularly interesting. I have a fair amount of weight to lose myself and since being diagnosed with PCOS a good few years ago now I have found it incredibly difficult if not impossible despite trying a good few popular diets.
Being somewhat a scientist in training i’m interested to see how my own body would react to this way of eating, and scientifically it seems to make a lot of sense as to why it would work.
I am looking forward to having a good nosy around on here first..and I have a few questions to ask fellow members 🙂
