I have just completed my first day of fasting yesterday and although it was tough (and felt like the longest day ever!) its wasn’t as bad as I expected. I even managed to do my normal gym routine and felt absolutely fine which I was worried about, and actually was under my calories at the end of the day so had a few left for a bit of fruit! Woke up today feeling extremely positive and looking forward to being able to eat what I like but also not feeling that I want to stuff my face!
I have tried both slimming world and weight watchers in the past which seems to work well but then I stop and the weight slowly creeps back up until I decide I need to do something about it.
I bought the book on Monday and am flying through it, I am a very scientific person so all the evidence and trials about fasting are fascinating to me. Fast day 2 tomorrow so we’ll see how that goes!
