  • Pseudo- poor you, that sounds nasty. Hope you can get it clean, bleach always helps with that! Studying at OU sounds like a really good idea; can you get a student loan to cover the tuition fees or not as you’re working? Even OU seems to be pricey now… son is 17, he was looking forward to the trip, his last one with cadets as they have to leave when they’re 18. Because they’re going to Germany they’ve planned more fun & touristy activities rather than all the usual training, but means he won’t get to pass any more tests which they normally would do, which means although he deserves it, he won’t be able to get any more promotions… he was hoping to get to Sergeant.
Jean- extra caravan time sounds good! I can’t help you with clothes clearing- I still wear stuff that’s nearly 30 years old! I don’t think they’re dated, others might disagree! (son & friends like the idea of being well off, son’s friend’s parents are very rich, so he’s into expensive cars & travelling… they’ve got big ideas for the future! But Dubai is out for quite a few years from what we’ve found out anyway!) Glad you had a nice meal!

My kitchen floor is slate tile so should be easy to get clean luckily! The drain wasn’t blocked but it’s just too small to handle huge amounts of rain. There’s all this black much that must have been collecting in the drainpipes whilst it’s been dry and it half clogged up the grill on the drain making things even worse. It’s not the first time it’s happened, I think I’ll have to get a couple of sandbags I can drag out when there’s a storm.
Yup I scrubbed off instantly, felt super gross after digging in the drain.

I’m not much help with the clearing out clothes either, I still have some stuff from when I was a teenager. And I have way too many coats!

Can’t get a student loan because it would be my second degree, but because it’s a science degree and one of the ones they are pushing I might still be able to get some finance. Fingers crossed. I’m still trying to figure out if it’s worth it or not – today I’ve been lying about relaxing, watching documentaries and films (between putting coats of sealer on my doggy pins) but that would be a thing of the past, I’d have to spend all weekend studying just to get enough hours in.

I’ve never fancied Dubai, looks too flash for me. I had no idea groups of young men couldn’t travel there though! Is your son intending to go into the army?

Morning all! Cooler & still rainy here, thankfully managed to get all the last minute washing done, now ready to iron & pack, lots to do today…
Pseudo- what degree would you study, & what job would you like at the end of it? What degree have you got already? It would be a big life change, & little free time for you… I’d find either psychology or Early Childhood studies really interesting to do, but doubt I’d ever use it enough to justify the cost, wouldn’t like the hassle of a career change now…
Yes, youngest is still dead set on getting into the army, not sure it’ll happen unless they change the vetting procedures though- it’s outsourced to another company currently, who rule anyone out with any past medical problems, saw an article recently which said it’s being reviewed as they can’t recruit enough & people are being turned away because of childhood illnesses which they’re free of now, hopefully it’ll change before he can re-apply. Not sure what else he’d do, possibly work as an instructor with youngsters at an outward bound style place, think he’d need something outdoorsy & practical, & there’s a PGL place near us.
    Have a good day everyone!

    Morning all.
It’s been hammering down all night, I’m dreading going back downstairs in case the kitchen is flooded again, hopefully the goop I scooped out of the drain yesterday has made the water flow faster and it won’t be an issue… I need to build up my back step and see if that helps.

I have an illustration degree. I wanted to go into children’s book design, but it’s so oversaturated getting your foot in the door is a joke. I do use my skills a bit in my current job, I had to rebrand everything and did a lot of design work for publicity purposes; advertising, leaflets etc. I don’t use it as often as I’d like though. I always wanted to do a science degree growing up, and I should have stuck with it. The one I’m looking at now is Natural Sciences with a specialism in either biology or environmental science, with an eye for eventually getting into the conservation surveying arena. I need a job where I can get out in the countryside and get decently paid whilst doing it. There are a few islands around here with rangers on them doing research work, that would be my dream job.

That seems crazy they rule out people with medical problems they no longer have. Does being part of the cadets help? Fingers crossed for him. Would it scare you?

    Morning All…

A rainy start and I think all day before the dry warm weather hits us again tomorrow…
A lazy day for us….find a book off my shelf…

I have a small patch of carpet to be fitted near my bedside drawers, before the fitters come tomorrow luckily I have a piece enough to do both sides of the bed hoping it works…I have new drawers to go on top so not such a problem..possibly see a bit at Steves side…I may stitch it together his side…

    Hedgehog..
It’s a scary time when they are not sure what they are wanting to do, at least he has his ideas, Grandson has no idea at all, only what he doesn’t want to do that list grows 😂

I am going to be hard on my self with the clothes..I hope..the piles are unbelievable I can’t understand how much I have…you just wear your favourite or daily things…watch this space, it’s scary..😬

    Pseu..
I didn’t realise it was just storm rain what a worry..the drains will be full of leaves and dust after nothing to flush it away…a very mucky job…I wouldn’t fancy putting my hand down, don’t mind plunging and digging with a stick..gross and stinky…

My daughter lived in Dubai for 20 years, although she had a whale of a time, very glitzy, meals out and lots of fun, her hubby did lots of golf and made it to Vice Captain of the Emirates Golf Club……she kept her feet on the ground with the unreal world she knew they lived, the children arrived and she did what we all do, bed early then to work at 6.30..they worked very hard 10 hours a day, 5 1/2 day week..time for her to be a Mum now in Louisiana…she really misses her job…

    Dave..
I will try and take yours and Steves advice..enjoy F1 we will be watching on catch up later…

    Jean x

    Pseu….posts crossed..

Doing research on an island sounds really interesting…hoping you can get a OU to help you and get a great to help…I think working outside must be the best job…

    Xx

Not been up long I stayed up to watch City play Bayern,so didn’t go to bed until 4am,I was fiddling around with the new sound system got it working but couldn’t pair it to Alexa,so I went online and contacted the firm who makes it, they said my remote is an old one,I said I have only had it 8 hours, they said they would send me the new remote to sort it all out.

    Hi everyone… Home again!

Just been catching up on the last few posts and seeing how everyone’s survived the weather… And the breaking of the weather.

We’ve loved being over on the outer Isles where it was cooler, but still some lovely weather. Our cabin was REALLY remote – right on the far edge of Lewis and wonderful. Saw golden Eagle most days and a sea Eagle a couple of times. And the beaches were amazing – and empty.

Managed to spend a few days with Mum this week, too.

And now I’m ready to tackle the weight again… No matter what my hormones do! The boy is still off school for a couple more weeks, so work can’t go crazy, which means I should have time to plan and cook properly. Control and determination are my watch words! So my first FD tomorrow for a month – hope I can remember how to do this.

Jean – might join you on sorting out clothes. I hava whole load of cheap trash that I’ll probably never wear again and they aren’t exactly quality classics. I’ll maybe try that trick of ‘if it doesn’ t make me feel happy, then it should go’!

See you all tomorrow for my first day back in.

    Mxx

Minols good to have you back,we have just had chicken so I cut up the legs and wings and mix them with iams for Heidi, she loves it😁.

    Evening All…
Lovely blue skies and just opened the french door as the heat seems to be returning and getting a bit of air flowing in…

We managed to piece the bedroom carpet on my side and I stitched it all together..it worked well, took me a bit of time…wecwill do the other side after the wardrobes are fitted tomorrow…

    Minols..
Glad you are back after your wonderful holiday…I love open people less places ..you just can’t beat it…empty beaches…yes…eagle watching amazing…

Back to fasting hoping you have done better than me…8 pounds on, lost 4 lb my first week then stayed the same……Steve 7 pounds on and lost 8 lb in two weeks, I might not talk to him..we both have done the same food wise it’s not fair!

    Dave..
You spoil Heidi…mixed chicken…you made me laugh at your old remote control…8 hours!

We are fasting tomorrow with Minols…anyone else??

    Jean x

Minols that sounds idyllic, being somewhere remote, watching eagles, wonderful!

I did a bit of a clear out this morning, too bags to go, but includes towels and bedding so not all clothes.

Jean, stitching carpet must have been tough on the fingers!

I’ll be with you both fasting tomorrow, might de a b2b if it goes well.

Welcome back Minols- sounds like an amazing holiday! Never seen Sea Eagles- did your son enjoy it all, is he still young enough to not be bothered about not having playstation etc. on holiday? Hope that you haven’t put too much on while on holiday!
Jean- are there no limits to your talents… carpet fitting as well as everything else?! Steve is very lucky to have you! Lucky to have nice weather back too, miserable here 🙁
Pseudo- my cousin did an environmental chemistry degree, & went to work on a crop research project- the pay was awful though, so he went into finance! Such a shame there’s not enough work as the children’s illustrator…
Dave- hope you get all the gizmo’s sorted!
Hope everyone else is keeping well & had a good weekend.
We’re nearly all packed now- I don’t travel light if I can help it! We’re hoping to leave by 6am, & will spend some time at Ullswater on the way, although the forecast isn’t great. Definitely not fasting we’ll probably have lunch out!

    Hedgehog…
Have a lovely holiday hope all the better weather comes back, I think it is. Forget keto and enjoy your break…safe travels…

    Pseu..
The carpet took about a hour stitching I use a carpet needle which is a curve like a letter C, it is easy but faffy..I have one bag ready for charity, although like you house things and a couple of dresses..I am trying..

    Jean x

    Morning All..
A cloudy start clearing up later..

I didn’t sleep well as daughter was driving back home from south Florida to Louisiana…on her own with three children and the pup, a 14 hours drive, she arrived 18 hours later with stops on the way….I would not of even attempted it…her husband is away on business in Europe..any way home safe and sound…

Up early waiting for my wardrobe men to arrive…then the jigsaw puzzle of finding a home for everything this afternoon..

    Hedgehog..
Have a lovely time away and safe journey to both of you…

Minols, Pseu and both us fasting….have a good fast day all…

    Jean x

Morning all, grey today but fingers crossed it’ll brighten up.

Jean, not too bad with a carpet needle then. I sowed a load of badges onto my hiking bag recently but only had a normal needle, it was really tough and my fingers were red and sore by the end… should have had the right tool for the job! 😀

Had my coffee with cream, the plan is not to have any more calories today, so just tea, water and squash. Maybe an oxo cube if I’m really struggling this evening. We’ll see how it goes.

I’m also debating jogging this evening, depends on the weather.

We are going ok here a couple of drinks of tea and breakfast…omelette and salad for tonight’s meal..

Kicking my heels sat around not doing much, wardrobes looking nice up to now but he is still working on them…

Been out to pick my up new bedroom side lamps from Argos…I have sent for 4 now, I have kept one, the other three were damaged, re ordered another two, they have gone down in price if these two ok I will take the first one back and save £10…a pain in the bum!

We were up at 7am it seems a long day with no food…usually out and about and busy when fasting….thinking may strim the back grass growing tufty not long enough for a proper cut..

    Jean x

Grass warranted a proper cut and strim…front straw like and dead…
    X

I have sent my sound system back for a refund, not happy with it,sound not good enough.FD for me today only had two cups of tea so far, looking for a good soundbar now, will look at Samsung ones as my tv is a Samsung.Nice and sunny here at the moment,so will take Heidi out again later when it cools down a bit.

Surviving well so far… But about to hit the bovril, so the test will all come at tea time for the boy’s!
    Mx

Three cups of tea up to now,not feeling that hungry,I will be having shepherd’s pie for my meal, less than 300 calories, so I can have a low fat yoghurt too🤗

Just caved and made myself a gorgeous wee caesar salad. Decided to go early before I got too hungry to hopefully stop eating. I’ll be back cooking for the boys in 20mins but none if it is nibble food fortunately so 8vll put the news on the radio to distract me.

The day has been straightforward so far, but I know the back end of the day is the hardest part… I’ll need to check on the app and see if I ve enough cals for a few strawberries this evening.

Hope everyone else has managed their day well.

    Mx

I’ve only had my coffee so far but now I’m in the danger zone of the evening… and it’s still so early. Must resist! Not hungry, it’s just the boredom that gets me.

    Evening All…

I have pieced the other side of carpet and refitted to the edge of wardrobe….we are both really pleased with the out come just waiting for two chest of drawers on Thursday….then all finished…we are half way through the clothes but now finished for the day, both shattered..

We have finished eating….we had omelette with salad so that’s it now until tomorrows breakfast..

Hope you all hold out…keep strong Minols no nibbling other peoples food…Pseu keep out of the kitchen no grazing tonight..Dave shame on your music system hope the next one is better…

    Hedgehog..
Hope you have got settled in your accommodation enjoy your holiday…

    Jean x

Ordered a Samsung sound bar, cheaper than the one I sent back,it’s a bigger size so it will have to go in front of the telly,it has a subwoofer also so that can go above the telly,Think I will Finnish my FD around 600 calories,so good for me, usually 800.

    Hi all

Weighed in on Saturday, stayed the same but never mind these things happen. Went out for meal Saturday night, main was ok but pudding was lush strawberries, cream, meringue and ice cream. I too am on a FD, I have gone over a bit, taken some of my clients out and I had coffees instead of tea 🤭 Have been using under my cal allowance over the weekend, so will see if it balances out by next Saturday.

Got to run, daughter can’t get boiler working so going to have a look at it for her.

Hope all the FD have had a good one xx

    Evening all!
Sounds like you’re all being strong with your FDs; hope you can keep away from the temptations this evening. Evening’s are my danger time too…
Dave- hope the new sound bar works well, & Jean- hope all the bedroom fittings are good.
Minols- keep strong, & Pseudo too. Any time for walking or a jog?
Santana- hope daughter’s boiler gets sorted, & staying the same is way better than gaining!!
Well, we arrived safely, great journey except for the last couple of miles at Penrith which took an hour!! No time to go to Ullswater, but stopped close to where we’re staying for an hour’s hike by the river, beautiful. The place we’re staying in is amazing, so peaceful, just the sound of the river & the birds (& hubby keeps talking, raving about how peaceful it is, ironically!) Torrential rain at times, but eased up so we’ve been in the hot tub, & the veranda’s covered so we can sit out in the rain still too.
Not too much eaten by me today either! (Won’t last!)

Well, that’s me done. Liquid only, 100 calories in total from my morning keto coffee. I’ll likely be carrying on until tomorrow dinnertime at the earliest (aside from another coffee), but since I find the day easy I’m just pleased the ‘danger zone’ of this evening has passed. I won’t be asleep for a few more hours but the animals are fed, the doors are bolted, and I shan’t be going back downstairs until morning.
Didn’t jog. Planned to, considered it, decided nah. 😛
Hope everyone else has kept strong. 😀 See ya tomorrow.

    Morning all.
Had a couple of nibbles last night but as my salad had been so light and the rest of the day good, I was still under the 500.

Lovely fresh morning here today, and looking forward to a few hours of writing while the boy is at football and then a meeting here in the kitchen while he plays with the neighbour’s children. Must remember to hoover and tidy up!

HH – sounds like you’re in a beautiful spot… Enjoy yourself.

    Hope everyone’s day starts well.

    Mx

    Morning everyone.

What is up with the weather?!! In Swansea we were forecast sunshine, instead there was torrential rain. I had to go out the garden to scoop leaves off the drain to try to save my kitchen from another flooding, and despite wearing a coat I was soaked to the bone in seconds. I drove twenty miles to work, blue skies and sunshine here! Luckily I had a spare pair of trousers to change into but my bra, knickers and t-shirt are all soaked and clinging to me. Very unpleasant.

Who’s fasting today? I’m going to see how it goes whether to do today too as a b2b, or whether to just hold out until dinner time. I often spend a chunk of the evening whilst I’m watching TV looking up recipes, last night I was looking up office furniture, going to change one of my spare bedrooms into an office so I have a self contained study area, and I think that helped keep my mind off food. I did find myself standing by the fridge a few times but I didn’t cave.

HH, your holiday spot sounds lovely! I’m jealous.

    Morning all!
Pseudo & Minols- well done to you!
Dry at the moment, will make the most of it & go out for a bit… cooked breakfast this morning, hopefully will walk it off later!!
    Have a good day everyone!

    Morning All..

A rainy start but beautiful and sunny now…my back garden I have lovely grass…front still dead??

Off out later shopping a few bits to do…things are looking better up stairs clothes are finding their home…

My poor daughter In Louisiana…after her 18 hour drive home, her first day back she was tired and she looked exhausted ….she came home to pots in sink, house left not too tidy, hubby away in Europe not thought to clean up before he left…she was leaving the general cleaning and washing her bedding, ( she has a thing about clean sheets) cases to empty later…going to start sorting and cleaning today….5 pm last night they had a very big thunder and lightning storm, a power cut in the area and a huge tree branch 20 foot long fell on her house and garage and took some of the roof and guttering off..her lovely neighbour Rodney is an absolute treasure, he left work brought a couple of guys with him, they chain sawed the tree up, put plastic on the roof to make her water tight, got the power guy to see to her house her lines down and under tree…I am frustrated and too far away to help…I haven’t spoke to her yet she will be in bed…

    Dave..
All this music don’t upset the neighbours..lol

    Santana..
Don’t be disappointed when the weight stays the same..at least it’s not up….I am in the same boat…hope you sorted your daughters boiler…

    Hedgehog…
Glad everything is lovely…the weather is always changing up in the lakes…get the right clothes on and it doesn’t matter…enjoy…..the tub sounds lovely…..have a good walk today…

    Minols..
Have a good morning and meeting….keep strong and clean up…lol

    Pseu..
Hope your undies have dried out…and your weather settles down….a project in hand for your new office..

My weight isn’t moving at all 10 days and I am the same weight ☹️ Every day…

    Have a good day all…

    Jean x

    Very quiet on here today

I never have music on loud, don’t have it on that often really,if I am doing something in the kitchen I just ask Alexa to play something.Got my soundbar up and running, words are much clearer now,not changed the bass or treble yet, something to play with when Denise is in bed.Phone paired to soundbar, got to work out if I can connect Alexa next.

    Evening All..

Out and about called at the bank, took Steve in the wheel chair as he can’t walk far, he’s ok around supermarkets with a trolly to lean on…injection hasn’t worked, it’s another two weeks until we see the doctor again..

Daughters house bill is up to £8,000 up to now with the lightening strike, insurance said they will pay but don’t know if it’s all of it…tree coming down as now, roof and electricity will be done tomorrow…poor girl still not talked to her as she is too busy with people…no electricity at the moment…I feel cut off from her 😬

    Dave..
You know I was joking with your sound system….glad it’s all sorted..I think I would like to shout and things get done without moving…I was at daughters talking with her about food..hers butted in and said it doesn’t speak Chinese..we did laugh…

    Hemmy..
Glad Phil is fitting the bill, doing a few jobs about always nice when you are on your own…takes time to decide, well it does for me sometimes…your weight is very settled maybe I want to be lower than my body wants…

    Pseu..
Couldn’t help you with your figures…not my forte…Steve didn’t have his glasses on….he possibly could of helped…charity bag is getting more clothes in 😀..finish it on Thursday when drawers arrive, I will try on tops and decide stay or throw away/ charity bag…

    Jean x

    Morning all.

Well, I managed to keep yesterday as an FD, bit higher than I typically like but at 280 cal I’d say it counts. I’ll probably stay fasting until about 6, so that’ll be about 57 hours in total. What I find with FDs is that it’s not so much about hunger as about wanting to have some texture/flavour. Maybe I should look into more flavoured chewing gums.

I got my figures done in the end, turns out I’d been doing it right all along but the way it was written just threw me off completely and made me doubt myself. I hate maths.

Jean, awful what’s happened to your daughter’s house! Have you managed to get hold of her yet? Do insurance companies move quite fast over there to get things sorted?

Well done on the clothes purge! I really need to be tough on my jumpers but I keep thinking ‘but this one is a different colour… this one is thicker… this one has a nice print… How many jumpers does one person need? And it should be easier to be strict with them in the summer!

    Anyone fasting today?

    Morning all!
Jean- your poor daughter, having to deal with all that just back from the long drive, talk about back to earth with a bump. Must be hard fro you being so far away… I hope she can get things sorted soon, & that you can give her an ear to bend to get things off her chest! & poor Steve, rotten that the injection didn’t work…
Pseudo- well done with your fasting, & hope you can be strong with the jumper sorting! I still have 30 year old jumpers in my wardrobe, & I do still wear them!! (My Nan knitted me one when I was 18, definitely not getting rid of that!)
Hemmy- glad you like your daughter’s partner, sounds like he’s useful ! 🙂
Dave- what do you do with Heidi when you go on holiday? Don’t know how you do it with the tech- our new camera, supposedly one of the easiest to work, is playing up already, flippin’ thing!
Been for a swim in the river this morning, well, a very quick dip really!
    Have a good day all!

    Morning All..
A lovely morning…a low day for us as we have had a couple of larger meals the last couple of days…

Off to the charity shop, one bag, a picture and one coat…I am trying… get rid before I change my mind…thoughts on a few other things…

Still haven’t spoke to daughter, she is staying with a family who her two boys play with, children having sleep overs etc..she has had them over for a few bbq meals and drinks….people have been so kind to her….no electricity so no AC, too hot…I think the roof man and electricity company are coming today, they have to apply for permits before they can start work which have now been passed.. insurance said they will pay out but she doesn’t don’t know if they will cover it all…still it has to be done no choice….she is sad her tree has now gone, it was a beautiful tree at least a couple of hundred years old…too close to her house for me!…at least they are all safe when the branch it fell…it chose the best place to fall and not on the middle of the roof…..that’s the good thing…

    Pseu…
I did laugh at you and your jumpers..’how many does one person need’…I don’t have any 😂..I put a thin fleece on in the house but very rarely…

    Hedgehog..
Hoping to speak with her today, we both tried each other but kept missing the call..

Swimming in a river…it must of been blxxdy freezing….did you come out blue….lol…..enjoy your day..

    Jean x

Heidi is looked after by my son,we used to put her in kennels but she didn’t like it,used to fight to get out and then fell out with me when I picked her up for a day or so.Its proper summer now the first test match has started.Football is just around the corner too😃😃😃.Not managed to connect Alexa to my soundbar yet,not sure if it’s possible, will have to do some surfing.

Very quiet on here this afternoon, going to speedway later, not had much to eat today, only wheetabix this morning and having grilled chicken breast with Mediterranean vegetables,so very low.

    It is weirdly quiet.

Eaten finally, now feel ridiculously tired. You’re not meant to get food comas on keto, but it feels suspiciously food coma like. Very tempted to go and nap.

    💤💤💤💤💤💤Wake up😃

    Hi All..
    I am here and about…

Took all my charity things to the shop..picked up my bedside lights, bought 6 found 2 which are not faulty…looking very nice…..looking for pictures now….drawers coming tomorrow…

    We are fasting tomorrow ..

    Dave..Pseu..you both had a good day…well done..

    Jean x

    Afternoon all!
Sounds like Dave & Pseudo have done well fasting! Have eaten way less this holiday than I usually do…
Tipping it down here…but there’s a roof over the veranda so can still sit outside, and we’ve seen kingfishers! Always wanted to see some, & now I have, one thing off my bucket list! had a good day out & a very long walk at Derwent water. We’ve done lots of thinking while in the peace & quiet, so have definitely decided we want to look for a lab puppy (boys keen on a German Shepherd. Dave- sorry, Heidi sounds amazing, but I nearly got bitten by one yesterday when we made a fuss of him, the owner assured us he was friendly first!!) And have seen an advert for pups which sound ideal, family dogs, they have all parents & grandparents available to see, done medical checks etc., so have emailed the owner… only 3 though so might have all gone. Fingers crossed!!

Not a fast day for me today, tomorrow is thought, going to mother in law’s tomorrow and a funeral on Friday, may be drink involved at the funeral.

Hi all… Sorry – don’t know where yesterday and today went! I guess I’m out of practice juggling boy and work.

Jean – your poor daughter… What a nightmare. You must wNt to just rush back.

I ve been cooking everything from scratch and experimenting this week – much to the boy’s disgust! Made a delicious leftovers pie tonight – the pickings of a roast chicken carcase with a sauce made up of last night’s casserole whizzed up, leftover roast kumara from Monday, stock from the carcase and a suet pastry… I feel quite ‘mumsy’!

Well tomorrow the boy can have shop made dinner as I’ll be fasting and having another tasty salad.

Better get him out of the bath – we’re on the last of narnia books this week.

    Evening everyone

Jean. Sorry to hear about your daughter, hope everything gets sorted soon.

How come everyone seems to keep their FD so low in calories, I’m struggling to keep to the 600. I’m alright up until tea time then I could (but don’t) eat everything in sight, normally when we have a meal I’m always the last one to finish but tonight 1st place 😂😂 am I doing something wrong??? Do I need to up my water intake on a FD? Drinking 1 litre most days plus tea every day and the odd coffee.

I’m going on hols Saturday for a week, think if I can manage on just some fruit at lunch time then I can enjoy something nice for evening meal but I’m not going to worry to much but I do have blood test when I get back so really don’t want to go on meds, not going to go stupid but not going to deprive myself if I fancy a treat 😁🍩🍰🍫🍪🥧😁 lbs on 🤷🏼‍♀️ lbs off 💁🏼‍♀️ Who knows!!!

Daughter………heating………she’s just moved into her home and hadn’t turned the thermostat up enough as it’s not the same as mine….duh 🙄 lol 😂😂

Now going to look after her baby as her and partner both in work tonight….I GET THE REMOTE TO MYSELF……… yippee

    Bye for now xx

    Morning All…

Up early my drawers are here between 8am and 9 am…an early worker..

Fasting day for us ..no thoughts or discussion on food yet…yawn…

Daughter is back in her house, no TV or WiFi till Friday….a very quiet house playing old fashioned board games 😂…the children have been sleeping at their friends, daughter and pup have stayed with her new next door neighbour for two nights but all back home now….she said..she felt at breaking point…I think in theory..she has had a bad 10 weeks with one thing and another….things hopefully can only get better…until next week when all children are changing schools for financial reasons, there will be tears…

    Hedgehog..
How lovely seeing Kingfishers..so beautiful…I have only seen them twice..once on the Norfolk Broads and the other time they were diving for fish on a beach in Goa..

Lovely when warm like this if wet to sit outside in the fresh air, the accommodation sounds good and well though out…at least you got out for a good walk…

    Minols..
    Busy being mumsy and cooking…lol

    Santana…
Have a lovely holiday..where are you going to… always nice to hear…forget the fasting while away be thoughtful if you can and enjoy yourself….it’s a way of life jump straight back on track when back…..we are in our caravan on Wednesday for 4 days at a steam rally…..good luck on the meds..

Glad you sorted your daughter out easier than mine…

    Have a good fast day…

HI all – FD here, and still keen as it’s only the second one since a month off!

Santana – I use up my full calories, too! I do know, though, that once I start eating, I’m lost, so I try really hard not to use them during the day, but not go too late as then I really can’t control myself in the evening. I switch about my thinking on the evening meal – sometimes it’s just really nice to have what everyone else is having, which usually comes to the 500 and then I have nothing left over for the inevitable nibbles! this week, I’m having very low salads as my meal, usually a bit earlier than the others, and that gives me space to have a wee bit of chocolate in the evening when they do, or as we’ll be doing tonight, strawberries topped with a little bit of my OH’s famous chocolate sauce (essentially dark choc melted with honey, but if we link it to home an dgive it the status of ‘famous’ then I don’t have to make it!)

As for fluids – mine mainly come in the form of coffee – lots of it and strong, with very little milk. Admittedly, now, most of it’s decaff…that’s an age thing for me!

Right, on with my ‘vigorous exercise regime’ – walking the ancient, but remarkably spritely dog down and round the field.

    Have a good one everyone.
