Started the 5.2 on Monday. Did my 1st fast yesterday which was difficult but did it with 11 calories to spare!!!!!
Please can anyone give me some meal tips to make these days easier?

I’m a newby here but did the 5:2 about 18 months ago to trim up for my daughter’s wedding. The best thing I’ve found is to wait as long as possible before eating. It’s surprising how long I can go with just tea (redbush/no milk or sugar) and coffee(just a little milk/no sugar) but I’ve finished work so don’t need to summon reserves of energy or power up with breakfast in order to perform at work. My fasting food allowance seems more substantial divided into a light lunch and reasonably satisfying dinner. I wait every day before eating actually. It gives me a daily fast of at least 12 hours but usually 14+. I’m doing 4:3 this time and mainly looking for the health benefits. Good luck!
