I am your typical yo-yo dieter and have been all my life. At the moment I am the heaviest I have been for years and am SO uncomfortable and know my blood tests results will be shocking. I know I lose weight really well on a low carb diet so had just started The New Atkins Plan when my niece in the UK sent me (in Australia) the Fast Food book and the Fast Diet book. Can I do Atkins on my non fast days and 500 cals on my fast days? Am I able to do my fast days on different days each week to fit in with my lifestyle? I have recently retired, love to cook and entertain. My exercise is limited…I play golf but due to osteoarthritis use a motorised buggy. I used to swim but can’t seem to get the balance to do my strokes which are also limited due to neck, back and hip issues. I hope this can work for me as I desperately need to lose weight and avoid the consequences of being obese.
