I find drinking a large-ish bottle of diet drink helps me in the evening. I started with Diet Coke, but found the caffeine was having side effects. I tried caffeine-free, but that didn’t help – maybe some of the ingredients like phosphoric acid didn’t help.
Now I have a variety of diet mixers in the evenings – I find it helps me take the edge off…

Yes, I find a small glass of diet lemonade sipped through the evening helps on fasting days, as one can be tempted to snack when sitting around watching TV! The sweetness seems to satisfy any cravings till bedtime.
