I’ve been doing some calculations on this:
The best Fiber per 100gr Kcal I found is some nicely seasoned Steamed vegetables.
Here’s a comparison:
Steamed Veggies (277g/120Kcal/7.3g fiber): Broccoli 100g/34cal/2.6g fiber, Carrots 100g/36cal/3g fiber, Onion 38g/17cal/0.5g fiber, Green beans 38g/13cal/1.2g fiber.
Pear (121g/120Kcal/3.7g fiber), i.e.: the same calories as the Steamed veggies with almost double the fiber. Pears is one the most fiber-rich fruits if I am right.
Anyone would advice a food with even more fiber per Calorie?
Any recommendation much welcome.
