Challenge: what dish or food has the most fiber and least calories?

  • I’ve been doing some calculations on this:

    The best Fiber per 100gr Kcal I found is some nicely seasoned Steamed vegetables.

    Here’s a comparison:

    Steamed Veggies (277g/120Kcal/7.3g fiber): Broccoli 100g/34cal/2.6g fiber, Carrots 100g/36cal/3g fiber, Onion 38g/17cal/0.5g fiber, Green beans 38g/13cal/1.2g fiber.

    Pear (121g/120Kcal/3.7g fiber), i.e.: the same calories as the Steamed veggies with almost double the fiber. Pears is one the most fiber-rich fruits if I am right.

    Anyone would advice a food with even more fiber per Calorie?

    Any recommendation much welcome.

    This is a list I’ve done, Highest fiber per calorie. All are 100g amounts.
    Formula: Fiber grams/Kcal * 10

    Turnip greens 1.7
    Raspberries 100g 1.3
    Artichoke 100g (no skin) 1.0
    lettuce 100g 1.1
    Spinach 100g 1.0
    Chard/acelgas 100g 1.0
    turnips 100g 0.9
    green beans 0.9
    Butter beans 0.8
    Broccoli 0.8
    steamed carrots 100g 0.8
    Lentils 0.6
    Pear, 100g 0.5
    oats 100g 0.3
    muesli 100g 0.3
    Apple 0.3
    Banana 0.2
    Popcorn 100g 0.2
    Blueberries 0.4
    Parsnips 0.5
    kiwi 0.5
