Hi my name is Elaine, I have just started the 5 – 2 diet today, this is my first day of fasting! I have decided to just stick to water! as I have found the book very confusing! as when I look up the calorie quantity of a food it contradicts the amount of calories the book quotes in recipes. i.e. on page 156 it states 2 lean grilled rashers of bacon (50g. 107 calories) on page 192 under protein it lists bacon 100 grams of bacon as 244 calories! I have found this on quite a lot of foods so which one is right! also I have gone on the internet to calorie counting sites and have found that they all contradict each other! therefore how is everyone managing to count calories! I THINK I NEED HELP! thank you for taking the time to read my post I look forward to any help I can get!
