  • I wasn’t sure which category to post this in, but I just wanted to share this with you all, as I think it may be of interest if you haven’t read it already. I have almost finished reading ‘Big Brother’ by Lionel Shriver. The story of a woman who helps her adored older brother lose the multiple stones he has put on since she last saw him a few years previously. It doesn’t have the dramatic tension of her earlier novel ‘We need to talk about Kevin’ but instead offers some really thought provoking insights about why people overeat, the nature of addiction and the complex psychology of control (and lack of it). Highly recommended!

I read that book recently too StraR and really enjoyed it.
    There is a thread here

for adding any recommended books and also collecting a few titles yourself.
    🙂
