best foods for fast days

  • Hi I am a new member and have been doing the 5:2 fast for a couple of weeks. I have managed to do the fast days reasonably well but am struggling to stay under 700 calories. I am interested in other forum members food choices on fast days.

    Water is very low in calories. Lots of people water fast including me. Cruciferous veggies are very low in calories, have lots of soluble and insoluble fibre which will help satiate you for longer. Lots of good veggie recipes out there. Find a handful that are easy to prepare and have those.
