Hi All, I have just started and on my first week and have started with the ADF approach as a bit of a kick start and then plan to drop it back to the 5:2. I just want to make sure that I’ve got my head around the fasting (500cal) part of it. For instance, I started this week and so ate normally Monday, had tea about 6:30 / 7pm and a brew about 9pm then bed. Tuesday was to be my Fasting day so had porridge (110cals) at 7:30am again at 12:30pm and again at 6:30pm, with brews (no sugar & just skimmed milk) and fruit tea during the day and Wednesday had breakfast at 7:30am and ate normally for that day and then repeated it again for Thursday. I know its only my first week but seem to be able to tell my empty tummy that it will get a litle bit of attention in a little while rather that try and go all day on just fluid – plus it fits in better with work. I have heard it takes a couple of weeks for your body to get into the swing of it but just wanted to make sure I’ve understood the concept of the limited calories for a limited time.
