  • Hi Guys,

I’ve been fasting on and off for a year and a bit but I’ve been sticking to it religiously for the past 3 months and had great results. I’ve dropped 1st 4lbs, but I still haven’t hit my target. I’m off on holiday in one week and I’m wondering if anyway else has tried my planned strategy.

For the next week I plan on doing alternate days of 600kcals and 1200kcals of feast days. Has anyone else restricted themselves as much for a short term boost.

I must say that this is only for one week to try and drop 4lbs and I’ll be returning to the 4:3 post holiday.

I also workout 3 times a week so I’m not trying to achieve my goals with diet alone.

    Hi Bulzer

I am right now in the middle of a two week alternate day fast programme and it’s working a treat. Today is day 10 and I’ve reduced 3.3kgs (7lbs) and I’m looking to achieve 4kgs after 14 days which seems very doable. Then I’ll revert to a 4:3 or a 5:2 for the rest of the month

I’m doing light exercise most days so it’s all going well. Keep it up and we could compare notes whenever

    Cheers

    Mike

I’ve never tried going that low on non-fast days. I doubt in a week it would screw up your metabolism, but you’re likely to be hungry and lethargic. Is it worth it for 4 lbs?
