I have another question. My first fast day was on Monday. I did pretty well, just hungry, with a slight light-headedness all day. But now it’s Wednesday and that spacey feeling is still with me. Is that normal? I ate well yesterday (banana for breakfast, mackerel and quinoa for lunch, and broccoli, turkey and rice for dinner) and drank plenty (3 litres plus) of my usual green tea as well as ginger tea and hot water. Today I’ve had my usual banana for breakfast, and the leftover mackerel and quinoa/rice for lunch with a couple of chocolates – still a bit light-headed.
I’m wondering whether this is something else (virus? the weather?) rather than the diet now. My next fast day ought to be tomorrow, but I have an interview on Friday and I really have to have my wits about me for that. I can’t be feeling light-headed on Friday.
Advice anyone? Should I do the fast tomorrow or leave it until next week?
