  • I didn’t have much time to get a workout in this morning (I usually do 10-20 minutes HIIT type training) but really wanted to get something in on my fast day to get my metabolism going I was literally have to fight to catch my breath by the end of it and nearly fell over on the last exercise! Good one if time is short 🙂

    lilyb, as with any of this stuff, catching your breath depends entire on how hard you push yourself, and the time involved. You wont get up into your anaerobic zone if you don’t. Give this a go for your fast days.

    Each activity lasts 25 seconds, go straight into the next one.

    Press ups
    Alternating Jump Lunges
    Press ups
    Mountain Climbers
    Alternating Jump Lunges
    Squats
    Mountain Climbers
    High Knee Running
    Plank – for 1 minute

    Done!

    newbie…can i do a mad on the spot sprint..if so..how long for etc[age young 60,quite fit]

    You can. But try and get yourself moving around rather than on the spot. Try running up and down the stairs if you’re stuck at home or the office etc.
