2 weeks in.

  • Hi everyone.
    This is my second week on 5:2 and I’m loving every minute.
    I had a go last year but found it hard going, so gave up after the first week.
    from there I tried slimming world as my does that, and found the weight loss wasn’t qiute waht i thought it was. Othere people in the group were dropping lbs left right and center.
    I gave that 3 three weeks and got bored so i thought I’d try 5:2 again.
    and here I am in week two and lost 6 lbs so far.
    The last two weeks have gone really quickly as I am looking forward to a food day. I don’t go mad but I enjoy eating food more.
    If I can stick a couple more weeks then I think I’ll be in for the long haul.

    Best of luck and well done so far Graham but don’t let weight loss be the ‘be all and end all’ of this WOE for you. It WILL drop off as you get closer to your ideal weight, so the important thing is to make this your long-term sustainable lifestyle and enjoy the health benefits that come with the fasting and REALLY make this diet worth sticking to (whether you lose weight on it or not).

    I hope you manage to get past your 3 week hump and on to a 5:2 future.
