I started 5:2 on 15th January 2015 weighing 76kg. My first diary entry talks about feeling always tired and bloated. I had bad indigestion, my clothes didn’t fit and I felt generally rubbish.
I tracked a weight of 68kg this morning and my energy levels are much better (been for a pre breakfast walk!) In between 15th Jan and now I’ve had 2 mini-breaks and 1 business trip as well as a terrible bout of tonsillitis. Through it all I’ve stuck pretty well to the plan and my weight loss has been very steady. I have more to lose but it is coming off.
My tips would be that you need to be careful what you eat on non-fast days too. It is too easy to over-eat on normal days if you aren’t being careful.
Today is a fast day for me and I use these to re-dedicate myself to my goal (a pair of hot-pants that look good on me!) by reminding myself where I started.
