  • Started 5th Jan at 100kg. Today 93kg. That is 15lb or just over 1 st. I have been doing 600 on Mon, Tue. About 1500 on Wed. Thu, Fri 600 and no restrictions on Sat and Sunday but typically about 2,500 to 3,000 at weekends each day. Total weekly kcals about 10,000 or on average about 1,400 equivalent kcals per day. So this means my so called resting metabolism is around 2,000 per day not 2,500. This is why some people (men) don’t seem to lose much until they restrict further. 2 days at 600 just is not enough for me so I am doing more like 3:4 not 5:2 !! Keep at it folks.
