Hello everyone! I just started The Fast Diet Monday Nov 3rd after coming across the book last weekend on Amazon.com. I had never heard of this diet before, but it seems to be very popular! Not sure how I missed it! I read the reviews for Dr Mosely’s book and most were very positive, so I decided to buy the book and give it a try. I also looked up Dr Mosley’s documentary online and watched it. I was hooked!
I’m excited to see how this goes. I have about 100 pounds to lose, and this is the ONLY diet I’ve ever been on that I feel like I can do long term. Usually I would never start a diet with the Holidays coming up, but with this one, I feel like I can fit it into the Holidays and not feel depressed on all the good food I’m missing out on.
I’ve only been on it 4 days, but it doesn’t feel like a diet at all. Granted, today is my 2nd fast day and I am hungry at the moment with a slight headache. But I can eat my 2nd meal in 2 hours then wake up tomorrow and have whatever I want. I can handle that.
I would love to meet experienced 5:2 dieters and newbies like me from all around the world (I am from the USA) and share, get/receive support on this journey!
