Hi Everyone,
I’m 52 yrs fit and healthy, I cycle between 30 and 50 miles most weekends and attend 3 spin and 2 body pump classes per week at the gym. I’m not overweight but would like to drop 14 1bs as I seem to hold a lot of fat around my middle (menopause isn’t helping either!).
I’ve tried the 5:2 diet several times but don’t seem to get past week 2….how sad us that!
I have a friend who followed the diet for 12 weeks and although she didn’t need to lose weight she lost 7 lbs. The amazing thing is she still managed to change her shape ( without any proper exercise too) and drop a dress size, she loons fantastic.
So inspired by her success I’m giving it another go, but I need all the help I can get so any tips on getting through a fast day would be most welcome.
