First Day Fasting & I survived

  • Today was my first dat at fasting & it wasn’t too bad.

    Started with 2 scrambled eggs with smoked salmon around 11.30 I was in work so this helped to keep me occupied, did have a dip late afternoon where I felt tired with a slight headache so had an Apple (I was playing netball later on so worried about energy levels) then for evening meal around 7 I had tortilla with 2tbsp of passatta, mushrooms, red onion,red pepper, tomatoes, spinach & weighed out low fat mozzarella, just hope I’ve not calculated things wrong!
    I was playing netball this evening which helped to keep my mind off food, I actually felt great afterwards & not really hungry 🙂
    My big thing will be to drink plenty of water as I’m useless at drinking throughout the day.

    But onwards & hopefully upwards

    Hi Just responding as a new starter too! I started on Monday this week and doing 4:3 fast beach to kick start. I’m pretty good at putting off eating in the morning so my fasting food allowance gives me a light lunch and a reasonable dinner. I’m not good at getting to sleep on an empty stomach. You sound very active. I do shotokan karate three or four times a week. Hope you achieve your goals, Econ.
