New to 5:2 – Hello!

  • Hi everyone!

    I’ve tried plenty of diets before with little success so far. Now that I got more time in my hands I decided to give this diet a go. Just ordered my book so hopefully I’ll be ready to go next week. I’ve never really counted calories before but so far I’ve downloaded fitnesspal on my phone…is there anything else you’d advise me to use for this purpose.

    Hi Di08, welcome to the forum. You really don’t need the books to get going, the rules are crazy simple but if you feel you need to then good luck for next week.

    Myself, I was straight onto it the day after seeing the documentary. Minimal info, didn’t even know what a TDEE was until a year later. It’s simple and it works – best of luck with it.
