Hi from a Newbie

    I’m from Australia and I first saw MM’s TV show last year, but only now have I bought the ebook. I’ve lost 1kg in a week (3 fasts: Thu/Mon/Thu). It’s great to have this forum for support and information. I hope to loose about 12-15 kgs and am looking forward to all the benefits of our new ‘lifestyle’ (my hubby is on board too).

    I exercise a lot but my habit was to reward my efforts with over indulging. Also, at the first twinge of a hunger pang I was looking for my next meal or snack. I’m pleasantly surprised to report that I have not expired due to hunger pangs…haha.

    I have lost 300 grams (about 2/3 pound) this week. I am still pleased with this result considering I had about 6 glasses of wine over the long weekend (Queens Birthday in Oz). My SiL came up from Sydney for a visit and we had two (…and a bit) wines each evening.

    It was a bit of a shock to my system as I only have the occasional drink…maybe a beer or a glass of wine once a month, if that! I felt a little queasy over the weekend and think I will stick to my more teetotal habits. I am more inclined to eat my calories rather than drink them.

    I glad u enjoyed ur wine and u still dropped…i also enjoy eating my calories instead of drinking them. Remember to drink lots of water and u will fell better soon..have a beautiful weekend and glad ur doing good!! Best wishes to you.
