  • I started this way of life on Wednesday this week (21/05/2014)I am very excited by the health benefits and am hoping to make this a long term way of doing things. After losing the 4 stone on weight watchers last year and regaining 8.5 pounds over the last couple of months i have realised that i need to feed my body with lots of good food that was restricted on my previous plan.Today is my second fast day and i was very happy with my raspberry and strawberry breakfast :0) happy fasting people

    Hi and well done. I often cook a meal for four and freeze it so I have a quick fast day meal available. I too have done weight watchers and found that you need normality and can’t watch what you eat forever. Within reason here you can have your cake on the normal days as long as you don’t over do it. However I eat a low GI diet on my normal days. Do be adventurous and try food you haven’t eaten before. Keep it up.

    Hi just a newbie too 🙂 been following the diet for 7 weeks now and had lost 5 lbs, but was away on holiday last week and scared to step on scale ! back on track and fast day tomorrow, good luck with the diet 🙂

    Well i was not expecting that when i hit the scales on Monday.3 Lbs down!
    I had my 3rd fast day yesterday and will have my 4th tomorrow.I would be happy if i only loose 0.5 to 1 lb a week as only 5.5 left to go fingers crossed. I am really concentrating on the quality of the food im eating on my feed days as well as the calories but im really relaxed and looking forwards to getting to the maintenance stage. I feel this is great for me. Good luck to any one reading this xxx
