If not now, then when? Day 1 so far…

  • Wow! Here I go! Very exciting to see how this journey unfolds. Both my parents and my office-mate have been on 5:2 and love it. My parents have lost weight and feel great. Dad has dropped back to 1 day a week for maintenance as he was loosing too much weight!

    My fiance and I are both trying it out for a number of reasons but mainly, to feel and look really great on our wedding day next year. We both don’t have too much weight to lose (in terms of kg’s on the scale) but the constant ‘bloat’ and general lack of energy at certain times of the day could be really alleviated by trying 5:2. The long term advantages as per the book are also too good to ignore.

    So – day 1 – here we are! Flat white in the morning and black coffee and cold water getting me through the usual afternoon lull, which is certainly there today but manageable. Brown rice and chicken for dinner, the calorie counter app I have is a big help already. Hopefully we get more inventive with our food as the weeks roll on.

    Monday and Thursday are the days. Can’t wait to see how I feel tomorrow morning…..

    As the book said, if not now then when?? WHEN = TODAY!!!
