  • Hello, this is my very first day on the 5:2 diet!
    My hunger pangs have really started to get my attention, so I am sipping a lovely green tea with lemon.
    To honest I am a bit sceptical about this but I bought the book yesterday, read most of it and thought, why not? I am intrigued not only by the weight-loss but also the other benefits to my general health as well. I am getting bored weighing and measuring food and feeling restricted every day, so this plan might be more flexible.
    I have never used a forum before but maybe this will help to keep me motivated.

    Hiya, I’m fasting today too! After the ridiculous Easter weekend I’m finding it harder to fast than usual…

    I’m also sipping a green tea – except that mine is the ‘with Jasmine’ variety 🙂

    Also, I always find that the day after a fast day is brill – I don’t feel bloated, and wake up full of energy. Good luck with today!

    Thanks. I’m trying not to expect too much from this but it would be great to lose some weight. It would also be good not to feel bloated and ‘huge’ and fed up with myself! I’m going to a wedding in four weeks time and every outfit I try on looks awful!
    That green tea has done the trick!

    Haha – same with mine! It’s good to have something to work to, I’m going to a wedding in June, so that’s what I’m trying to work to at the moment – damn these weddings! Definitely know how you feel with the ‘huge’ and bloated and clothes just looking awful though – still happens when I haven’t fasted in a couple of weeks, and realise I’m eating too much again!
