16 and Overweight

  • Hello everyone! My mother told me about this diet the other day and I couldn’t wait to get started. Being only sixteen, I understand that this diet isn’t meant for teens. That being said, I have been on the HCG diet(only consuming 500 calories everyday) so my body won’t be shocked by the whole process. I am currently 5’4″ and 11st 1lb(155lbs), and my goal is to get to 9st 4lb(130) by July. It’s probably unrealistic to drop 25lbs in 3 months time, but I’m feeling confident.
    My first fast day is tomorrow, so wish me luck!

    Good on you for wanting to get your weight down. My strong advice is for you and your mum to seek your doctor’s guidance. For a young lady going on that 500 cals a day could not be good so yes this eating plan is more sensible but it is a slow steady weight loss programme so 25lbs may or may not be realistic. your body needs a balance of nutrients

    I would second everything Double Happy has said, so good luck and keep us informed on how you’re getting on 🙂

    I would also advice you to double check with your doctor. I am pretty sure it will be O.K. but you want to be sure.

    Be patient! In the long run it is better to lose the weight slowly.
