Hey there!
I started the 5:2 earlier this week and was going very well (2 fast days), but stuffed it up last night by having a binge, so was quite disappointed in myself. But…ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!
I have quite quickly put on around 7kg in a couple of months which has effected my self-esteem a bit, so I am keen to get it off again. However, after a good decade of dieting and my weight yo-yoing, I had finally got to a point where I was working out lifting weights and eating healthily. I was counting calories though and I don’t really like this way of eating – I find I get a bit obsessive and I don’t think that is healthy.
I am very skeptical of “diets” so I am trying to come at this from a health perspective rather than a dieting one.
