2nd week

  • Hi, I’m Elaine, almost 45 year old single mum, been overweight all my life and lost weight a couple of times with SW, but couldn’t sustain it and put it all back on again each time.
    Just had my 3rd fasting day yesterday, planning to do Sundays and Wednesdays or Thursdays each week, think have lost a couple of pounds but it fluctuates each day and even at different times of day…
    Feeling quite tired at the moment but hoping as I go further into this journey that will change.
    The thing I love about this plan is that I don’t have to buy extra foods or foods that I wouldn’t normally eat, it’s actually going to save me a little bit of money, amazing!
    Have always been a comfort eater, chocolate and jelly sweets being my weapon of choice, nice to know real hunger and to start to be able to distinguish between that and just the need to eat something through boredom or emotion.
    Been lurking since I started but thought it best to invest a little time to say hello and join the FD family!

    Not sure about brave…but feels good to be in control of it for a while at a time…I love the fact that there’s always tomorrow..

    sadly today there was a big box of chocolate brownies at work today so think i’ve overloaded my calories for the day…

    I did read that the other day, really useful and grounding

    i guess it will be easier to be mindful as to why i overeat on non-fasting days, always been oblivious to the whole process!

    my FD book just came through the post today, so early night with a cup of tea and hopefully a good few pages before I fall asleep!
