I always feel Yuck! No energy, no enthusiasm and ache everytime I move. I’m 37 and dread to see what mess I’m in by the time I’m 47

This was my first diary entry in January this year:
Today is the first day. I am low in energy – I feel tired all the time. I look fat. Even my “lady parts” have got fat. I have an overhanging pouch of a tummy that is getting sweaty in the folds. I feel gross.
I am 37 years old too and was struggling to drag my carcass out of bed in the morning. I felt exhausted before I’d even started for the day. All my clothes were too small which left me feeling uncomfortable, squished and about as sexy as a sack of potatoes!
I am still on the plan and am 8kg down. I finally fit in my clothes properly (and have had to replace a few with smaller sizes). The first 2 weeks were tough and my energy levels reached a new low. They have risen steadily since. I have taken on some fitness activities as well as just moving more and doing more in the open air. I have 4 – 8kg to go (depending on when I decide I have reached a good weight). I am not going back to my old eating habits though – I enjoy feeling good!
I must add that my dietary overhaul has been substantial. Not just the fast days but also changing what I eat and keeping an eye on my portion sizes on normal days. I am a changed eater!
