Starting my weight loss journey today with 5:2

  • I am in my early 40’s and have been overweight all my life. I have lost weight a number of times using different diets only to regain the weight (and some more) by slipping into bad habits. My ultimate goal is to lose 20kg but most of all I want to increase my energy levels and feel good about myself.

    Hi and welcome 🙂 You will find lots of support here. My routine is that I fast on Monday and Thursday and then keep it low the other days, although I’m not obsessive about calories. I’m trying to walk more too, although its hard to get motivated in this cold weather!

    Hi, i just started today. Almost through my first day. I can’t believe I’ve almost done it. Something has to give, the last 6kgs have been the hardest. But no more! Cheers A

    7 weeks in and about a stone lost. The diet is great and it works. Stay the course – the fast days get easier and you become to look forward to them, it gets you thinking about food and, IF YOU CAN do some exercise on your fast days… it will improve your results!!!
