  • Hi, I am starting for the millionth (it seems like it) time to get healthy and stay healthy for me, my husband, my kids and my grandchildren. I think this could be the right one for me. No gimmicks just watching calories and exercising. I would love to have some people wanting the same thing to keep in touch with; to celebrate the wins and give support to each other on the tough days. Good Luck to all!!!!

    I am weighing in at 300lbs with a short term goal of 20lbs at a time. My over all goal is to get down to 165lbs. Looking forward to supporting others and getting support through this life changing journey!!!!

    Hi Chippy! Michigan here and also just starting out today. I plan on fasting Mondays and Wednesdays. Still not sure how exercise will play into it, although I’ve signed up for yoga. I’m trying to take it on a ‘one thing at a time’ basis. I tend to be an all-or-nothing kinda girl, which often leads to…well, nothing LOL

    Good Luck Jenny!!!! I am here to support you too!!! I will be fasting on Tuesdays but not sure of the other day yet. Heading off to walk on the treadmill that my hubby bought me. I hope to make it 30 mins. I will let you know. Please keep in touch! It will be nice to have a support group.

    Made it through my first 30 min on the treadmill. 1.07 miles… YEAHHHHHH!!!!!

    Woohoo! That’s awesome! I do believe I’d be laying on the floor still if I tried a full 30 minutes right now lol. Go Diana!!

    Yay! Good luck 😀 I just ended my first fast and OMG did that scrambled egg and toast taste GOOD. You can do it! Just keep thinking about how wonderful things will taste in 36 hours 🙂

    I signed up on the “Who wants to join me? Summer pledge” thread. You might want to check it out, too. There’s a ton of support to be had there. I set my goal at 24 lb lost as of 8/1. That’s a steady 2 lb a week (if I did the math right LOL). I’d be thrilled to meet that goal.
