Geez almost 6 weeks and I’ve only lost 3 pounds. Am I expecting too much? And I am not going crazy on my non fasting days. Frustrated.

Hi Alan
You may need to tweek the diet a bit to speed things up, if that’s what you want. I have done 5:2, 4:3, Every Other Day. They all have advantages but EOD did not work for me at all. I didn’t lose weight and actually put weight on.
I am now reading The Complete Guide to Fasting by Dr Jason Fung and am back on 5:2 but am doing a total fast (nothing to eat at all) on fast days. Amazingly I am finding it MUCH easier than I expected and it requires no shopping no cooking, no counting calories and it leaves me with much more time to do other things.
Some people only eat 2 meals per day, others 3 and others eat only within an 8 hour window each day. There are many options.
