From what I have read the long periods between food (fasting days) it gives your body time to rebuild DNA instead of having to metabolise food. I think that is great and helps me on fasting days wit,h the hunger pangs.

I’ve been reading the health benefits & this sounds like a good one. I think focusing on the health benefits helps me just as much as thinking of the possible weight loss. It does make sense that your body needs to rest & with our diet here in the UK we aren’t exactly the most healthy nation in the world.
