  • Day 13 Newcastle UK 🇬🇧 FD
Well up 12lbs after my holiday 😭
Today’s FD is going well after all the food I’ve been packing away.
Quite happy to get back to sensible eating again.

@miraclelou, the pocket faster list is just a little list to remind ourselves who is fasting that day. Feel free to copy, paste and add your name to it. It’s there whenever someone remembers to start one.

    Hi MiracleLou

“Pocket fasters” is just short hand for the list of names of other people in this forum who are doing a FD the same day as you. You can just keep track of who these people are, or literally, keep a list of them in your pocket. Mentally, it can help you get over any hunger speed bumps if you’re able to visualise the other people doing the same as you.

Like me! I posted this morning, and stayed strong! I usually do a liquid fast and have just had my dose of chicken stock soup (bouillon) which is all I need to get over those speed bumps. That, and reading the forum for all those inspirational stories which really fight off any snack dragon type bad thoughts!

    [Ignore this one!]

Anyone got the link for November spread sheet. Thanking you in advance.

    Day 13 – ABQ – FD
    Day 12 – ABQ – NFD/CD
    Day 11 – ABQ – NFD/CD

A very busy weekend for me again (really let’s just assume they all are this month. I’m very excited since this was DH’s last Sunday to have to work. Starting this week, it will be the first time since we’ve been married (not counting my maternity leave) that we will have the same days off! I stayed very controlled all weekend. I’ve noticed I’m just not as hungry as I used to be anymore. Portions that I would easily clean the plate on, I’m lucky to get even half – I just love how this WOL naturally gets us to portion control ourselves. I did a check this weekend to see how large of portion sizes I should be eating, and wouldn’t you know it, its the exact size that I can comfortable finish now! Happy dance for small wins!

Ya’ll were quite active over the weekend so it will take me some time to catch up on posts but quickly:

THANK YOU to everyone for your congratulations! I’m hopping with joy still at the news! And I just love that I can share this part of my life with ya’ll! All the positive comments and cheering is one of the reasons I just love this group so much! Now hopefully, ya’ll will be congratulating me for different reasons soon! haha! But seriously Thank you so much!

@borealis and @toddybear WELCOME! I see you have gotten started on the spreadsheet already, way to go ya’ll! You’ll find this a very supportive and active group!

@steve here is that Nov link for you: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BLuf0oDETlPDLYSw9l1oXWCnVzBnAqmdJshVaBVCBMY/edit?usp=sharing

    Day 13 – Cumbria UK – FD

Busy day ended up being a FD (464cals) even though not planned initially but probably needed it after yesterday’s gluttony 😈1hr of Pilates this afternoon and 1.5hrs of Yoga this evening kept me focused

Tomorrow will be another FD as feeling in need of it – going out walking in the morning with my usual group

Will try and catch up tomorrow with the posts.

Good night or good morning depending on where you are in the world!!

Help me! I started and then gave up! I can still give November a crack right? I’ll weigh tomorrow & update x

    Day 13…..Florida….FD

    2nd post…..

@mjr…… Let me see, if I can explain this and make some sort of rhyme and reason. I’m a maintainer or in the maintenance phase of this WOL, but I am a maintainer with no goal weight. So, some weeks, I practice to maintain other weeks, I feel as if I want to lose a few more lbs. Not having a goal weight or better yet not knowing where I want to be, I’ve put my self into a sticky wicket. So, with this WOL, I’m able to juggle between maintence and weight loss.
This is the only WOL that allows me to be whom I chose to be which at the moment is indecisive. Right now, im not prepared to define my goal weight, maybe one day yes or maybe not.
That’s one of my favorite things about this WOL, is because it is adaptable to who you are.
As far as the weight loss aspect, I’m still losing but at an extermely slow, slowest way possible. Which is fine with me because it eliminates the chance of regain if to fast.
Now, I know some are concerned that I may be yo- yoing it……
After research yo-yo diet is eating from one exterme to another. I do not do that. I eat normally as In the beginning, I have not cut anything from my diet, I just add or subtract a FD when I feel I need to.

@coda……Glad you still here with us……. stay strong! Remember you got this!

I do not have ducks 🦆
    I do not have rows!
I have monkeys 🐒 and they’re running the circus.

    Day 13, FD UK
Another successful fast after a crazy few days of boozing…

    @jessyoursize

You can add me to the list! I have done FD in 2015 with great results in 2015, and I’d like to come back on. Thanks, E

Day 14 Gold Coast, Aus FD

I’ve never done a B2B successfully, but I had a great LFD yesterday, and I’m aiming for about 500 cals today so making B2B. So far so good, only 58 cals for breakfast. Planning on only liquid until fish dinner.

May we be happy, may we be healthy, may we be free from inner and outer harm, may we care for ourselves joyfully.

Day 13 completed UK (First day for me!)
Successful FD 485 cals. 10000+ steps
Thank you for all your encouragement and warm welcome

    Day 12, Copenhagen, NFD
    Day 13, Copenhagen, FD.

So this was supposed to be a fast day. I didn’t eat all day until I’d gotten home from uni in the late afternoon, and I was ravenous. I had some cucumber with salt and was ok. Ate dinner an hour later. Then the hunger monster broke loose. So I am currently at 1500 calories I think?
Will try to do an FD on Wednesday instead… and then again on either Friday or Sunday.
Trying not to beat myself too much up…

    x

    Day 14, Germany NFD
Thank you @califdreamer and @penz for your explanations! Seems like a good idea!
@marsupial it’s never too late! You can do it!! Don’t beat yourself up and give it a try again!
It’s a NFD but I will stick to my three meals, no sugar!
    Take care everybody!

    Day 13 North Wales FD
    Day 14 North Wales NFD

At my daughters, with the two granddaughters. All have had a sickness bug so I have been very busy. I have woken up feeling a bit queasy myself this morning so even though it’s supposed to be my NFD it might well turn out to be another FD.

    Day 14, NFD, New Zealand.

    Day 14, CD, Norway…might turn in to a FD..we’ll see tonight 🙂

    Day 12 – Spain – NFD
    Day 13 – travelling – NFD
    Day 14 – Ireland 🇮🇪 – FD

So I am back from Valencia. Super weekend, very exciting race, sunshine and temps of 25c, visited the food market in Valencia and was very impressed. Food wise however it was very much a snacky type of trip. Perhaps it was because we were with DH’s friend, (who is a bachelor, living alone, lives on burgers and steaks etc etc), but no proper dining was done and it was pub grub or places like the Hard Rock Cafe 😨

Long day travelling yesterday, left Valencia at 5am for a long drive to Madrid to catch our 11am flight, got home and ordered pizza for dinner.

    RESET
Today will be a good FD and I am really looking forward to it. I stepped on the scales this morning for a laugh, and my weekend brought on 4 pounds. I will drown that today. I hardly drank any waster while away (did not want too many loo breaks at the circuit or while travelling) so I will get back to my 3.5litres today.

Will catch up on the weekends posts when I come home from work this evening.

    Day 14 UK NFD

I have now been under goal for a weeek, not even a blip above. Yay, I am maintaining :))

    Day 14/FD/Melbourne Australia

Welcome back @coda and @steve toon taxi driver

@mjrbcd44 I am writing this in Pages. Lesson learned again! I loved @bert‘s explanation. No you are definitely not living in a fantasy world, 10,500 calories may be perfect for you. Everyone’s body works differently. I’m 65, don’t strenuously exercise, I’m healthy, fit and short. My recommended TDEE to maintain varies from 1240 calories to 1820 depending on the calculator I use. TDEE is just a number. Like the numbers on the scale it doesn’t always reflect the reality. Think of TDEE as a starting point. Find your personal goal weight. One you are happy with and can sustain. Work out the number of calories you need to eat to maintain. It may be different from the number on the calculator you use. I did it through trial and error. I recorded my calorie intake over a couple of weeks, kept an eye on weight fluctuations and used an average to work out my TDEE. My personal TDEE is 1640 calories to maintain. I can live with that. Some days I’m way above it and others I’m below. Over the week it averages out. I don’t obsess on the numbers. I would have done if I could only eat 1200 calories! Too much like every diet I have been on.

My day is coming to an end. It was an easy fast day due to the hot weather. I only drank water throughout the day and broke my fast with two boiled eggs and asparagus soldiers. Only 156 calories. Good reset after the weekend.

    Stay strong.

    Day 14 Belfast FD
A pound of holiday weight despatched. A couple more to go.
@mari84 – sorry to hear you were sick. Hopefully you’re on the road to recovery and that little bikini on the beaches of Sydney!
@happymargo/SongBirdMe – in another life I should like to be a costume designer. Loved that link. I’m going with DH tonight to see the film. I’m really looking forward to it.
@marsupial – just press that reset button. There’s no such thing as failure here. Tomorrow’s a new day 👍
Glad you had a good trip @daffodil
Good to see you again @coda.

Off to Pilates after a two week break. That will be tough. Note to self: get back to those daily planks!

One of the many inspirational quotes posted here:

The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.

    I CAN AND I WILL.

Day 14, London, UK, FD (1st of B2B2B)

Back to work and already snowed under, hence the B2B2B as I should be too busy to think about let alone consume food!!!

@coda, so glad to have you back, even if you just pop in to say ‘Hi’ – you know we’ve got you, right????!!!! I had a small pity party last week, just 1 guest…………… me!!!! I had so much support from this forum, that getting back on the wagon wasn’t hard at all. I hope the foot healing is going well & I like the alternative treat jar, I’m trapped in a vicious circle where I hate wine gums, then I go and buy a pack, eat the lot, then I realise how much I hate wine gums, then I go and buy…………………..You know where I’m coming from!!!! This brain re-training is slow going, I keep thinking ‘old dog new tricks’, but I’m positive I WILL master this, no doubts!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m adding ACV to my daily routine…………………again, I seem to forget the things that make me feel better, so I’ll concentrate this week on ACV, dragon drowning and bone broth!!!

    Stay strong everyone!!!!

    Day 14, Newcastle UK, NFD

Sorry I can’t reply to any posts today but I have skim read the last four day’s worth and see that life on our forum is as interesting as ever.

I enjoyed a brilliant weekend with my visiting friend. We went out with 4 other girls on Friday night for a meal. They all remarked on my change of shape (at last) and agreed I should maintain at whatever weight I am (I haven’t a clue as haven’t weighed this month at all, as planned). I do feel ‘right’ though. On Saturday night, the two of us went to see Kid Creole and the Coconuts and ABC in concert at The Sage, Gateshead. Wow! Wow! Wow! After a busy Sunday seeing various other friends, my visiting friend departed yesterday afternoon and I then went on a shopping spree.

I did actually have a very good FD yesterday – until I got home and it morphed into a CD. I’m happy with that. The rest of this week will be CD/NFD and normal FDs will recommence next Monday.

I now have to get a wiggle on as another friend arrives this afternoon and I have to do laundry and make up her room.

Have a great day folks. Together we are stronger.

    Day 14, Brussels, FD

Typical, wrote a reply to a lot of people here and then lost every thing when I was interrupted for work 😛

Oh Well, I’m going to be quick in case I get interrupted again lol

Well done everyone who did they’re FD’s yesterday! And thank you for explaining the “pocket fasters” I was also wondering what’s what lol

Yesterday I learned that a dear friend had passed away, such a lovely lady, it did make me think about also enjoying the good things we have, and hence it made even more sense doing the 5:2 so that you can go on enjoying time out with friends, lovely meals in good company and still loose/maintain weight…

So today FD, I’ve had a hard boiled egg, I have planned tuna & lettuce salad, another hard boiled egg and miso soup for today.

I hope you all have a good day, fasters and non-fasters alike 🙂

Day 14 Newcastle UK 🇬🇧 NFD.
    Thanks for the link jessyoursize.
First day back at work caught man flu last two days of holiday so lots of sympathy please.

    Day 14 Wales NFD

Really good FD yesterday and slept so well, planning a healthy controlled day today. Wet weather so today’s exercise will be indoor household chores which is no bad thing, burning calories and a clean house.

Good luck for a successful day everyone.

    2nd post,

Sooooo…….. @steve toon taxi driver has just returned from a cruise – 3 days to Madeira then 5 days to the Caribbean and is asking for lots of sympathy having succumbed to ‘man-flu’………………………. Yeah right!!!!!! I swear someone told me they make them tough up North!!!!! 🙂

    Is my jealousy showing??????????!!!!!!

    Day 14……Florida……FD

It was not a very good FD yesterday. Not sure really what happen…. dragon out….. everyone RUN!

Today it’s going to be an easy FD,I will not be home and left to my own devises.

    Short and sweet today!

I do not have ducks 🦆
    I do not have rows!
I have monkeys 🐒 and they’re running the circus!

    Day 14, Belfast, FD

    Day 14 NFD
    Day 13 FD

Made it through yesterday quite well after a weekend of food and no exercise. Unsurprisingly, weight was up by a kilo or 2 from Friday.

My dinner was made for me but in keeping with a recipe in the Fast Diet recipe book – it was not weighed though. So, I am not sure if I managed to keep within the 600 kcal limit for the day. There were also loads of leftovers so that is my lunch sorted, when I eventually get round to it.

Today is turning into an unplanned partial FD as I have no food in the office and, currently, I am stuck in it for the time being. For breakfast I had scrambled eggs with prunes (thought I’d try it) as prunes are a source of vitamin D and good for bone strengthening. It is a bit too sweet, but edible.

@belfastsink, thanks for the Pocket List ! 🙂

Day 14 – Perth, Western Australia – FD

Hope I get this yperlink thing right

    Day 14 – Massachusetts – NFD

    Day 9 of 5:2 ever

The pounds are coming off quickly! I know loss won’t be this quick forever, but certainly is a big booster. I have three interviews for new jobs this week, and two of them involve lunches. I’ve tried to plan my week so those days are NFDs and hopefully they won’t screw me up!

Also do you guys find that B2B or B2B2B fasting is better than alternating days? What is the benefit to doing B2B?

Feeling good with being a few pounds down, hopefully this will translate to a confidence boost during my interviews!

Day 14 USA (Illinois) – FD

Hopefully my FD today will mitigate my creeping up pounds. No one ever said maintenance would be easy, as we all know. My scale showed 164# this morning – unacceptable.

I will catch up on posts today, I hope. We are in the final throes of concert preparation for the Sunday afternoon show. Since I direct it, I am plenty busy!

    Onward and downward.

@SteveToon Ahhhhh! Get well soon💐 (I hope the rest of the holiday lived up to expectations – you’ve been a bit scarce on the detail!)
@leggit – those few pounds will give you a huge confidence boost. Good luck for those interviews. 👍
Thanks @belfastsink for the pocket list. Struggling a bit this morning.

    Day 14, FD

@fatrabbit, well done on maintaining! Not there yet myself, but I expect that is when the real work starts!

Day 14 Akron OH FD. I quickly skimmed the posts this morning but don’t have time to reply but I just wanted to say Good luck to everyone FD NFD CD and hearty welcome to all our new friends: Thank you for joining us 🙂

@bert1802 – yeah for your maintenance and losing slowly! You truly are doing this WOL to its best.
@abfab5 – you’re so right not to beat yourself up. Help and encouragement is right here.
@daffodil2010 – sounds like your vacation was terrific! I love Spain – brought back memories of Valencia decades ago now.
@debster251 – how fun that your alter-ego is a costume designer! I have sewed since I was 13 but never really was on the design side of it all but appreciate those who do. So glad you enjoyed the article. I found it interesting that Johnny Depp’s leather coat was a “find” for her.
@leggit – congratulations on pounds coming off!

One report here this morning was about high blood pressure being more prevalent that they were saying. They call it a “silent killer” for Americans. Weight loss is one good/healthy way to relieve it. Yeah for us!
    http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/13/health/new-blood-pressure-guidelines/index.html

Day 14, Cornwall – UK, NFD

I only weigh myself once a week on a Friday, so no weight loss to report yet – lets hope for Friday. But I can report another 1cm off my waist and more yoga “firsts” in the last few days.

So – for the yoga people out there – I’ve been doing yoga for about 6 months – starting at over 100kgs! It is possible and I’m making some decent progress, especially with a bit of weight loss. Today, I managed a full Kneeling Back Bend – it has taken 6 months to get enough flexibility for my hands to find my feet behind me. And converted my first Should Stand from last week into the full pose with feet over my head and then touching the floor behind me. Very inelegant and I couldn’t hold the pose for very long as I couldn’t breath! I had some funny stuff-ups too, but I’ll only let you know when I can do them (in the spirit of staying positive!).

The combination of yoga and 5:2 is helping to free me from this body – which does not feel like mine when I look in the mirror. I want to look and recognise the person that I feel to be rather than the alien body that occupies my space. Now I’ve made some progress (12kgs down so far, 30kgs to go), I can see this WOL is having a very positive impact.

I just have to keep going. I’ve been looking through the previous Challenges and see that some people drift away, and I don’t want to be one of them. I see some Long Termers and Maintainers here in the November Challenge – how do you keep faith in yourself and keep going for months and months, as I need to do?

@leggit – so good to hear about your success!

Day 14 Dublin FD. Well its been a busy start to November for me but I have stayed on track. This week especially happy as have really got my exercise mojo on. Haven’t been regular for about 6 months or so. Good FD today so far. Had breakfast and a salad lunch. Liquid now until breakfast tomorrow morning. I think I can manage it! Good luck everyone

    Hello everyone,

Day 14 FD after a week of pure disaster..

I am still not able to keep up with reading the posts . i just can’t seem to find enough time in the day to catch up. I am skimming thru them . I might start this as my new bed time reading .So much love and togetherness here. You are all awesome.

last week has been a bit pathetic. Crept back on scales, or my scales are totally playing up on me. I normally weigh after the last fast on a saturday morning. I might have to ditch the scales and get a new one or see whats up with it, its showing so much disparity. (I am blaming the tools for blowing up my weights hehe).

well it was daughter’s brithday , meal out twice in the week, movie (no poporns) and a cake .. well u dont need much.

I might even go to weighing at the end of the month. I was doing the weekly weigh in because I thought if I do so, I know if the pounds are keeping up . Then I can better my fast days to compensate . I have no idea. Still dilly dallying there …

    @leggit – great job !!! well done

well done all of you whom I have missed

I love the pocket list option 🙂

    Day 14 – USA – NFD

    Day 14 NFD Oregon USA

Yahoo for my most successful FD yet! Just about 500 calories and 3 miles of walking to distract me mid-day as I wasn’t hungry, but felt restless sort of bored, not really sure how to describe it other than I needed to get out of the house and away from the kitchen. 🙂 I work W-F but am off on Mon-Tu and find that Monday at home fasting felt like time dragged. Looking forward to a day when I can just “forget” it is a FD and go about my business, right now it’s very top of mind!!

@onahealthyhigh–fantastic explanation of your TDEE–very much appreciated as it is what I was hoping. I know that those numbers need to be massaged based on personal metrics and just glad to hear that you have found a reasonable number. That is my hope!

@cornish-jane that is fantastic that you have reached a new yoga goal and I applaud your success and determination to stick with it! In my eyes YOU are a Long-Termer and hearing you in the forum is incredibly inspiring to me.

@bert1802 I think your view on this WOL is HEATLHY–not yo-yo. You are using a system for weight management not bouncing up 30 pounds and down 30 each year.

I’m trying to to a CD today and make up for some extra calories over the weekend, and also planning on a walk with a friend.

I just keep thinking how cool it will be to come out of November down a few pounds instead of up a few after Thanksgiving. And we are almost half way there!

Strength to today’s fasters and everyone else good choices!

Day 14 – McMinnville Oregon USA – NFD
I run into Portland today for my photography class, then lunch with a friend. My goal for today is a CD!!

@molij – Hope you avoid the bug!!
@daffodil2010 – Glad you had a good time!!
@fatrabbit – Good going, I can’t wait to get there!!
@Strawberriesandcream – It sounds like you have been having a whirlwind of a good time !! 🌪💃
@StephieS – Sorry for the loss of your friend. You are so right, we need to enjoy the day.
@steve toon taxi driver – Tough way to come off a vacation. (((((HUGS)))))
@leggit – Good luck on your job hunt, let us know how it goes.
@songbirdme – Thanks for the link, I will read it this afternoon.
@mjrbcd44 – Congrats and good job on FD

    Day 14 – Cumbria UK – Day 2 of B2B

Lovely brisk uphill walk this morning with the group and the rain held off – then lots of chat enjoying an Earl Grey tea afterwards.

Unfortunately the weather has been of the drizzly grey kind of a day but not particularly cold……..

@bert1802 – not sure about any euphoria after the meditation day but have been feeling very calm and relaxed……..but then since retiring I have been a fairly relaxed kind of girl 😉BTW great explanation on your Day 13 post
@mogaman – I do my 2 x FD for both the long term health benefits and like you I enjoy the how I feel on them. I must admit that it does allow me to be indulgent on a couple of days without paying a price in weight gain ☺️I’m lucky enough to be able to do a fair bit of activity as well x
@leggit – B2B2B means doing consecutive FD some do 2 or 3 days in a row and others have been known to do 4…….folks do what suits them but obviously the more FDs you do the more weight you will lose if you don’t overcompensate on your NFD…..
@toddybear @borealis – never too late to join Welcome! Read the first post on Page 1 by @jessyoursize who is hosting this month.
@steve-toon-taxi-driver – Welcome back sounds like you had a fab holiday – you know what you need to do and those pesky lbs will soon disappear!
@annemarilyn – it was all new to me but some of the principles links in nicely with my yoga practice and I will try to incorporate some into my day – will let you know how I get on
@songbirdme – DD and I are going out for a meal followed by Murder on the Orient Express tomorrow – thank you for the links x
@bigviking – Well done you on getting into the 70’s- keep going
@maayyaa – be careful with the liquorice tea – did you know it’s not the best thing for your blood pressure!!! makes it go up apparently! Your weight loss is for you and you notice, that is what is important and how it makes you feel – people will start noticing soon especially when you treat yourself to some smaller clothes
    @aljomisaza – that too 😃
@mari84 – stay positive and go off and enjoy your holiday – if you can do the odd FD or try some 16:8 day whilst away it will help but most importantly have a good time
@mjrbcd44 – Yes you are correct in that – in order to maintain when you reach your goal weight you must eat at your TDEE but fasting has great health benefits and allows for some overindulgent days as well ………and it has worked for me for this past year in maintenance……I’m 5’4″ and weight around 54kg and that is around what I consume weekly – I like the ability to overindulge on some days and be able to cut back on others and that is what 5:2 allows me to do very happily
@coda – Great to hear from you – just keep lurking and pop in for a catch up every now and then – we are holding on to you xx
@daffodil2010 – great to hear that Valencia was fab
@StephieS – sorry to hear about your friend – Hugs x
@cornish-jane – Yoga is great for both mental and physical health and well being and it does not matter on your weight or shape – everyone can enjoy – I have been practising for 2 years now and LOVE IT

@belfastsink – Thank you for adding me to today’s pocket list – I very nearly did not do my B2B but seeing my name on the list made me stick to my original decision x

Day 14- Colorado USA – NFD

@cornish-jane — you asked how the long term 5:2’ers manage to stick with this. Not sure how helpful my story will be but I’ll throw it out there since I started during Coda’s very first call to action, to Challenge ourselves for a full month of intermittent fasting with group support (May of 2016, I believe.)

I suppose my answer is, “What’s my other option?” If I don’t stick with this 5:2 WOL, what else have I got to try? In the past, I’ve done Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, South Beach, etc. Sadly, these met with the usual re-gain plus some extra baggage.

The absolute BEST success I’ve met with (over years of different approaches) has been INTERMITTENT FASTING paired up with LOWER CARB (cutting out sugar & processed carbs.) Can’t say enough good things about the one-two punch of that combination!

Over the past year & half I’ve met with additional difficulties due to the return & flare-up of my autoimmune Crohn’s Disease. It required medication that brings on rapid weight gain. But I’ve never doubted that once I had surgery & am back in remission, that my way back to a healthy weight & fitness would include 5:2 plus strength training & cardio. No doubts!

*- There is plenty of science to support this approach.
*- Plus, there’s flexibility of moving your FD depending on work or social or family demands each week.
*- I never feel like “I’ve blown my diet. May as well stuff my face now” like I have on other diets.
Instead with 5:2, I simply dust off, hit the re-set button & carry on.
*- Then add the wonderful support of this group, I’ve never stopped believing I’d reach my goals this way!

    Day 14, Gozo Malta, fd

Today fasting around 700 calories. If I’m not careful I still like to nibble even on leftover food. I’m trying to snack on fruit. Tomorrow will be another fast day and the last fast day of the week. I’ll give official weight next Thursday.

Onwards and downwards have a great evening everyone

Pocket WINOS! Just saw this headline! I wonder if it is any good…. or where to buy it. I know we’re not Weight Watchers, but we are watching our weight!
